1. Company Information & Legal Status

JMK Enterprises operates in strict adherence to the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Government of India. Our legal exporting entity details are as follows:

2. Order Quantities & Quotations

  • Standard MOQ: The Minimum Order Quantity for all Basmati Rice variants is 1×20′ FCL (Full Container Load), which accommodates approximately 25 Metric Tons (MT).
  • Price Validity: As rice is an agricultural commodity, prices fluctuate based on market conditions. Quotations provided by our sales team are strictly valid for 3 working days unless stated otherwise.
  • Sample Policy: We provide product samples upon request. While the sample is free, the international courier charges must be borne by the buyer.

3. Standard Delivery Terms (Incoterms 2020)

We offer flexible shipping arrangements to accommodate our global buyers across the UAE, Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. We support the following standard Incoterms:

  • FOB (Free on Board): Mundra Port or JNPT (Nhava Sheva), India.
  • CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight): Preferred by most of our buyers. We handle complete shipping and marine insurance up to your designated destination port.
  • CFR (Cost and Freight): We handle shipping to the destination port; the buyer is responsible for arranging insurance.

4. Approved Payment Methods

To ensure a secure and smooth transaction for both parties, we accept the following globally recognized payment instruments:

  • Letter of Credit (L/C): 100% Irrevocable, Confirmed L/C at Sight from a top-tier international bank. (Highly recommended for first-time large volume buyers).
  • Telegraphic Transfer (T/T): 30% Advance payment upon order confirmation, and the remaining 70% balance payment against the scan copy of original shipping documents (B/L, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, etc.).

5. Shipping & Quality Assurance

  • Lead Time: Standard processing, milling, custom packaging, and port loading take 15 to 21 business days from the date of advance payment or L/C confirmation.
  • Pre-Shipment Inspection: We welcome and facilitate third-party inspections (such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, or Cotecna) at the loading port to verify quality, weight, and packaging. The cost of third-party inspection is to be borne by the buyer.
  • Fumigation: All export containers are thoroughly fumigated prior to dispatch to comply with international phytosanitary regulations.

6. Force Majeure

JMK Enterprises shall not be held liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, strikes, port congestions, or global shipping disruptions.
